WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING
Explore what our members have to say about their experiences with the 1st Marine Division Association. These heartfelt testimonials highlight the deep sense of camaraderie, the meaningful connections forged, and the impact our association has on the lives of Marines, Sailors, and veterans.
I enlisted in 1945. Retired in 1975 as Sergeant Major. Thirty years in, but I wanted to stay connected to my Marine Corps. I joined the Southern California Chapter of the Association. I would serve eleven years as President, then as Executive Director of the Association, and Liaison to the Division. The Association keeps in touch with Marines I served with. I have met other Marines who also become friends. At Chapter events I meet Active Duty Marines. The FMDA is where "Once a Marine, Always a Marine" works for me.
